27 years of daily work in Skagit County as a Family Medicine doctor, nursing home doctor, hospital doctor and hospice doctor. I have delivered hundreds of babies and am still working nights and weekends safely delivering new babies. I teach medical students and family medicine residents every week. I work as a Hospice and Palliative Care physician.
I have also worked at clinics and nursing homes in Whatcom, Island and Snohomish counties.
I have been a leader in the medical field, twice selected to serve as the hospital Chief of Staff at Skagit Valley Hospital for a total of 5 years. I have helped run a private medical clinic and also worked for a larger hospital system. I have seen the problems with Medicare and other health insurances from many different sides.
